The Slovak Stand has been present at the Bazar International de Luxembourg since 2009. Our stand attracts a lot of visitors, not only due to its tasty culinary offerings and beautiful products that we sell, but also because of its cosy decoration (mock interior of a Slovak cottage) and the display of vibrant national costumes worn by our volunteers.

You can soak up the Slovak festive atmosphere by trying some 'lokše' – home-made potato pancakes filled with foie gras or with sweet poppy seed paste, or you can try Slovak style sausages, a wide selection of delicious cakes, traditional Christmas sauerkraut soup, Slovak alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, jams, traditional cheese products and of course very popular hand-decorated gingerbread biscuits.

If you are looking for an original Christmas present for your loved ones or for yourself, you have found the right place. We offer a wide variety of beautiful textile toys, handmade dolls, original Christmas decorations made from husk and other materials, natural cosmetic products, clothes, candles, Slovak CDs/DVDs for children, calendars, books and much more.
