What is the Bazar?
The largest international charity event in Luxembourg. A three-day celebration of food, culture, and community — where every euro goes to people who need it most.
Every November, around 60 stands take over LuxExpo The Box for three days. Each stand represents a country or community, selling food, drinks, crafts, jewellery, clothing, and more — all run entirely by volunteers.
The concept is simple: shopping for a good cause. Shop handmade crafts from Brazil. Taste Shawarma from Lebanon. Enjoy traditional dances from all over the world. Every purchase, every drink, every raffle ticket — the profits go directly to charities we carefully select each year.
The Bazar has been running since 1960 and was formally incorporated in 1967. What started as a small gathering of internationally minded residents has grown into an institution — attracting thousands of visitors and raising hundreds of thousands of euros annually.
We have no paid staff. No overheads. No admin fees. The entire operation runs on volunteer time and goodwill. That means when we say every euro goes to charity, we mean it.
