Bazar International de Luxembourg

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Everything you need to know about the Bazar, how it works, and how to get involved.

The largest annual international charity event in Luxembourg. Around 60 volunteer-run stands representing countries from every continent come together for a three-day event of food, drinks, crafts, music, and culture. Every euro of profit goes to handpicked humanitarian projects worldwide.

The 2026 edition runs from Friday 4th to Sunday 6th of December in Luxexpo the Box.

Entry to the Bazar is free. You only spend money on the food, drinks, and products you choose to buy from the stands — and every euro goes to charity.

Approximately 1,500 volunteers. There are no paid staff. A volunteer Board of Directors oversees the organisation, and each stand is managed by a Head of Stand with their own volunteer team.

Stands, members and volunteers nominate charitable organisations. The Directors then evaluate each nomination over several months, assessing social impact, long-term structural benefit, financial transparency, and trustworthiness. The final list is approved by the Board and the General Assemblee annually.

Projects addressing poverty, illiteracy, physical and mental disabilities, disease, and displacement. We focus particularly on empowering women and girls, supporting children at risk, and providing emergency relief. In 2024, we funded 23 charities across four continents.

Public transport is strongly recommended. Tram and bus stops serve the venue directly. Use the mobiliteit.lu app for route planning. If driving, there's open-air parking in front and indoor parking at the back, plus nearby P&R Adenauer and Gernsback garage.

Dogs are not prohibited, but we discourage bringing them due to large crowds. Service dogs are always welcome.
