Charities
Our criteria.
We don’t fund at random. Every charity we support goes through a rigorous evaluation to ensure your contribution creates real, lasting change.
The process
From nomination to funding — here’s how a charity goes from a suggestion to receiving support.
Nomination
Stands propose charitable organisations they believe in. Many of our best partnerships begin with a personal connection. Each nomination is followed by direct contact with the beneficiary and an initial analysis before being put forward.
Evaluation
The project is presented to the Board of Directors. The charity team conducts a comprehensive assessment: project viability, the beneficiary’s financial and economic situation, geographical context, reputation, and the potential impact of Bazar support.
Selection
The Board of Directors approves or rejects each project. We aim for geographic and thematic diversity — education, healthcare, women’s empowerment, emergency relief.
Funding
Once the General Assembly gives its final sign-off, all profits from the Bazar Weekend are distributed directly to the selected charities. No admin fees. No middlemen. Every euro accounted for.
What we look for
Every charity is evaluated against four core criteria before receiving funding.
Meaningful social impact
We look for charities making a tangible, measurable difference in the lives of the most vulnerable — not just good intentions, but proven results.
Long-term structural benefit
Our funding should set a charity up for the future. We prioritise projects that create lasting change — not temporary relief, but sustainable transformation.
Financial transparency
We fund organisations that are financially independent beyond a single donor. Trustworthiness, clear accounting, and an established reputation are non-negotiable.
Hands-on due diligence
Our volunteers have first-hand knowledge of many of the charities we support. We maintain direct connections — not just paperwork, but real relationships.
