• Deko Stand: Beautiful Christmas decoration and gift ideas, as well as traditional Christmas items from the Erzgebirge.
• Book Stand: A wide choice of German second-hand books: novels, non-fiction, children’s books, books on Luxembourg and some rarities.
• German culinary specialties: we offer wine from a winery from the Ruwer region, (close to Trier), Beer, ‘bretzels’ (pretzels in English) and other specialities.
• Wine tombola with great wines from the region.

This year the German Stand asks for support for the following Charity project:

Ehrenamtliches Trierer Sprachpatenprojekt (language partnerships) implemented by the Johanniter Unfallhilfe (JUH) Trier

The aim of the project that started in 2009 is to help children and young adults who came to Germany as refugees or immigrants to practice and improve their language skills in German in a playful manner and in a relaxed atmosphere.

Besides improving language skills, the project also aims at participation in cultural and social activities, but also at enhancing self-confidence. These partnerships enhance mutual understanding and cooperation and are very successful.
